Close-up, guest to guest
Matteo moves through the room during drinks or dinner and performs for small groups at a time. No stage, no microphone, no soundcheck — the whole show happens at arm's length.
From $2,500
New York is the one American market where companies actually search for a corporate magician by name rather than being redirected to something else. Matteo Cammisa performs at New York client evenings, company celebrations and corporate receptions — no stage, no sound, no runtime taken from the programme. From $2,500.
New York corporate events are compressed. The room is booked for three hours, guests arrive across ninety minutes of it, and a meaningful number leave before the thing you scheduled happens. Anything requiring the full room's attention at a fixed moment is fighting the format.
That is the argument for a performer who works the room as it fills rather than performing at it once it has. Guests who arrive at six-forty get the same evening as guests who arrive at six, which in this city is not a small thing.
The client evening is the most common booking, and it carries a specific problem: everyone in the room knows they are being sold to. Something genuinely surprising resets that dynamic and hands the account team a conversation that is not about the account.
The venue is usually an office floor, a private dining room, a members' club or a rooftop — none with AV worth using. The absence of any technical requirement is not a convenience here, it is the reason the booking is possible at all.

From $2,500

A seated, focused piece for the full room, built around thought, choice and influence rather than props. Runs 20 to 30 minutes and works as the pivot between dinner and the rest of the evening.
From $2,500

A full theatrical set for a seated audience, with close-up work projected live to screen where the room is large enough to need it.
On request
Nothing to fail and nothing to schedule: no stage build, no audio, no lighting cue, no rider, no rehearsal. It can be added after the room is confirmed and it cannot delay anything.
It is discreet. No branding to negotiate, no volume, nothing that forces a conversation to stop, and no guest put in an uncomfortable position in front of people they do business with.
It reaches people as they arrive rather than requiring a moment when everyone is present — which in a New York three-hour window may never happen.
Matteo Cammisa is a member of The Magic Circle in London, of FISM — the international federation of magic societies — and of the Society of American Magicians. Twenty years of performing, more than 500 events, over 30 countries.

A performer booked for a company event rather than a public show — typically working the room during a reception or dinner instead of performing a set from a stage. In practice the job is to warm a room of colleagues and clients, give people something to talk about that is not work, and do it without taking runtime from a programme that is already full.
Something that works while the room fills rather than at a fixed moment. New York evenings run three hours, guests arrive across ninety minutes and some leave early, so a scheduled act reaches whoever happens to be present. A performer moving through the room reaches everyone who comes, regardless of when.
Within honest limits. A product name, a launch date, a milestone figure or an internal phrase can be built into a piece, and often is. What does not work is turning the performance into a presentation — the moment it reads as a corporate message, the surprise stops being one. The strongest version is a real performance with one or two moments that could only belong to your evening.
Bookings start from $2,500. The figure moves with the format, the length of the evening, the number of guests and where in the world the event is. Fees are quoted per event rather than per hour, because what you are booking is presence across a window of the evening, not a block of stage time. Tell Matteo the date, the city and roughly how many guests, and you will have a firm figure within 24 hours.
For a specific date in high season, three to six months is comfortable. Shorter notice is often possible and worth asking about: dates open up, and Matteo holds a small amount of the calendar for late corporate bookings. The honest answer is that the date either exists or it does not, and one message settles it.
