The Grand Opening of Sora, Wynwood — with Scott Storch and Andrew Tate

On March 14, 2025, Sora by Hotel Collection opened its omakase and wine bar in Wynwood with an invitation-only night headlined by Scott Storch — the producer behind records for Dr. Dre, Beyoncé and Chris Brown — performing live for the room. Matteo Cammisa was among those photographed at the opening, alongside Storch, Andrew Tate, Chef Bee, and hosts Benny and Elliot Aboud.

Wynwood openings are a particular kind of room: press photographers working the floor, a guest list assembled rather than invited, and an evening where everyone present is being seen. Close-up magic behaves differently in that setting than it does at a seated dinner — it works in the gaps between introductions, giving people a reason to stop moving and a shared moment to talk about.
