Close-up Magic at W Budapest

Matteo Cammisa has performed at W Budapest repeatedly — Marriott's design-led luxury hotel in the former Drechsler Palace on Andrássy Avenue — including the hotel's Halloween celebrations in both 2023 and 2024. These photographs come from a further evening of close-up magic at the hotel in spring 2024.

W Budapest is exactly the register Matteo's work is built for: a five-star house where the entertainment has to match the interior — personal, stylish, and performed at conversational distance. Cards appear where they shouldn't, signed and impossible, inches from the guest.
