The Setting
The Amalfi Coast asks something specific of wedding entertainment. Clifftop terraces and villa gardens mean guest lists in the dozens rather than the hundreds, and venues where a stage, a PA system and a lighting rig would be an intrusion on the one thing everybody came for — the view.
Close-up magic is built for exactly that constraint. It needs a square metre and no power. It happens at conversational distance, in the pauses your timeline already has, and it leaves the terrace exactly as it found it.
The Experience
Your guests have flown in from different countries and mostly don't know each other. Magic gives them a shared reaction within minutes — the thing that turns polite small talk into an actual party.
No stage, no sound, no lighting, no load-in. On a Positano terrace or a Ravello garden that matters more than anywhere else. Matteo arrives dressed for your wedding and simply begins.
Matteo is Italian. He coordinates with your venue and suppliers in their own language and register, and performs for Italian and international guests without either group feeling like the second audience.
Matteo works to the timeline your planner already built — arriving early, confirming the running order on site, and staying out of the way of the photographer and the caterers.

Your Day
The hardest part of a destination wedding is that half your guests have never met. Close-up magic gives strangers something to react to together — the fastest way to turn two guest lists into one room.
The gap while you're away with the photographer is the single best hour for magic. Guests are standing, drinking and unoccupied. Matteo moves group to group so nobody is left waiting.
Between courses, Matteo visits each table for a few minutes. It keeps the evening moving through the long stretches of a seated dinner, and every table gets a moment that belongs to them.
Optional, and often the piece couples remember most: something staged privately for the bride and groom, away from the room, that the photographer can catch.

Common Questions
It's the format most suited to one. There is no stage, no microphone and no comedy routine — it is performed quietly at conversational distance, for four or five guests at a time, and it reads as an intimate detail rather than a show. The register is closer to a sommelier than to a party entertainer.
Cocktail hour is the strongest slot — guests are standing, unoccupied, and you are usually away with the photographer. Welcome drinks the evening before and table-to-table magic between dinner courses both work well. Most couples book two of the three.
Yes — Positano, Ravello, Amalfi, Praiano, and across to Sorrento and Capri. Travel is included in the packages above. For weddings outside that radius, accommodation is usually covered by the venue or added to the quote.
Italian, English and Hungarian. On the Amalfi Coast most weddings run in a mix of Italian and English, and Matteo switches per group without breaking the flow.
For peak season on the Amalfi Coast — May through September — most couples book nine to twelve months out. Matteo takes a limited number of weddings per season so that each one gets a full day rather than a slot.
Most of Matteo's weddings come through planners. He works to your existing running order, confirms timings on site before guests arrive, and communicates directly with the planner rather than adding another thing for the couple to manage.
Nothing technical. No stage, power, sound or lighting. Just a note in the running order and somewhere to leave a jacket.
