Malta's wedding market runs on its palazzi: baroque townhouses in Valletta, the silent-city courtyards of Mdina, garden estates at Naxxar and Lija whose orange groves host dinner for two hundred. What wedding entertainment works in a Maltese palazzo?+
The palazzi are listed spaces with heritage rules — staging and amplification are usually restricted outright. Close-up magic never triggers those rules: no equipment, no volume, no footprint. It works the garden cocktail hour and the dinner courses guest to guest.
Do you perform on Gozo as well?+
Yes — the farmhouse estates on Gozo host the quieter version of the Malta wedding, and the ferry changes nothing for a performer who carries his entire setup in a jacket pocket.
Our guests are mostly British — does the performance suit?+
Malta's wedding market is largely English-speaking and the performance is native to it. Where the guest list mixes — Maltese family, Italian friends — the format needs no translation, and Matteo performs in English and Italian.
How far ahead should a Malta wedding book?+
May, June, September and October are the strong months — high summer is hot for garden evenings. Six to twelve months out is comfortable for a Saturday; one message settles a date.
