Weddings on Mykonos
Mykonos runs the most produced weddings in Greece: beach clubs that turn over to private celebrations, villa estates with event teams, planners who can source anything by boat before noon. In that environment the scarce commodity flips — production is abundant, and the thing money struggles to buy is a moment that feels unproduced. That is the niche close-up magic occupies here.
The island's wedding geography splits between the villa ridges — Agios Lazaros and Aleomandra, with their sunset lines to Delos — and the beach clubs from Kalafatis around to the south coast. Both settings are open-air, wind-lived and staged-entertainment-hostile; both are trivially easy for a performance that happens in the guests' hands.
