Puglia is the fastest-rising destination-wedding region in Italy, and its signature is the masseria: fortified farm estates among thousand-year-old olive groves, whitewashed courtyards, dinner under the trees. The form is deliberately rustic at the surface and five-star underneath — and it has no stage, no ballroom and no AV, by design.
The masseria evening is built for exactly this format. Aperitivo in the courtyard as the light goes honey-coloured, dinner at long tables in the grove, dancing under the stars — close-up magic works the courtyard hour and the spaces between courses, within arm's reach, leaving the estate's spell intact.
For an international couple marrying in Italy, an Italian performer is part of the point: Matteo works natively in Italian with the local staff and family, and in English with the guests — the seam between the two halves of a Puglia guest list is exactly where he performs.

What wedding entertainment suits a masseria wedding?+
The masseria's whole register is effortless rusticity — nothing staged, nothing amplified, nothing that turns a farm courtyard into a venue. Close-up magic keeps that register: it works the aperitivo hour and the dinner courses guest to guest, and the estate never has to accommodate anything.
Which parts of Puglia do you cover?+
The whole wedding region — the Itria Valley (Ostuni, Locorotondo, Cisternino), the Savelletri–Monopoli coast, and south to Lecce and the Salento. Nothing is needed from the venue, so geography changes nothing.
Does it matter that you are Italian?+
At an Italian wedding, considerably. Matteo works natively in Italian with the venue staff and the Italian side of the family, and in English with the international guests — the performance happens exactly on the seam where a Puglia guest list divides, and stitches it.
How far ahead should a Puglia wedding book?+
May, June, September and early October are peak — high summer in the groves is hot. The strong masserie book their Saturdays a year out; for entertainment, six to twelve months is comfortable.
