Weddings on Taormina
Sicily's wedding market runs on drama the venues supply for free: Taormina's terraces hang between Etna and the sea, Noto's palazzi glow gold at dusk, and the countryside estates put dinner among vines and citrus. International couples come for exactly that theatre — which makes the entertainment question specific: nothing should compete with the setting, and something should still happen to the guests.
Close-up magic is that something. It adds no second stage to a place that already is one; it works the aperitivo hour and the dinner tables within arm's reach, and its drama happens at the scale of a guest's own hands — the one scale Etna cannot upstage.

What wedding entertainment works in Taormina?+
The setting is already the show — Etna, the Ionian, the Greek theatre's silhouette — so the entertainment should not build a second stage. Close-up magic adds its drama at hand scale: the aperitivo hour and the dinner tables, guest to guest, with nothing for the terrace to accommodate.
Do you cover the whole of Sicily?+
Yes — Taormina and the east coast, the baroque south-east (Noto, Modica, Ragusa, Syracuse), and the estate and vineyard venues inland and toward Palermo. Nothing is needed from any venue.
Our wedding is half Sicilian family, half international friends — is that a problem?+
It is the room this performer is for. Matteo works natively in Italian with the family and in English with the guests, and the format itself needs no translation — the impossible moment lands identically at both tables.
How far ahead should a Sicily wedding book?+
May, June, September and October are the strong months; high summer is hot inland. Taormina's famous terraces book early — six to twelve months out is comfortable for entertainment.
